I finished this one a couple of weeks ago but I have waited until now just to make sure that I still like it the way that it is. As usual with the "You" series I stuck with oil & latex paint, with cray-pas & sharpie on a mirror. This one I'm donating to Pet Support for Seniors for their Bark Bark Club fundraiser.

further into the "You"
I recently got back in touch with an old friend of mine. Not that she's very old but we hadn't spoken in about 9 months & had left on bad terms. Right after we stopped speaking to each other I drew this:

Latex paint, cray-pas, oil paint, sharpie on mirror.
Things have been settled between us. I don't mean it anymore but I still like the image.

The beginning before the beginning (a story for tots)
Shoot, boys and girls, I didn't realize how long it had been since I uploaded any other art. I've got backlogs of the stuff that nobody has seen. For shame...
So, before there was there was the "Please, help..." series I was working on this one as a suggestion from a good friend of mine, Stevo Cohen. There was other stuff that I was working on before that but Steve, being a Taurus, suggested that if I was going to do something artistic I should work on large things. "Good idea," I thought. & me, being a Gemini, thought, "What if I painted on mirrors?"

Here's the first one I ever did. It's entitled, as you can probably see, "No You're the Chicken." Thus, the You series was born. It's done on mirrors of various sizes, using only latex paint, oil paint, sharpie & pastel crayons. My mom likes this one a lot. So do I.
