Please help. I'm a werewolf in sheep clothing.

It's funny how you can never escape from your own experiences. I was raised in the American Church Conglomerate by a wild pack of fundamentalists. Our sect was different than other versions of American Christianity in that it was stressed that the Bible was, in fact, literally true. We were steeped in the gospel from birth until I left home. Yeagh.

Fast forward to the present where I live very far from that world and that life. I'm the King of Elphia for Christ's sake. I mean, really, how much farther away can you get? From anywhere, truth be told. So I got a weird sense of nostalgia when I climbed into a cab and the driver began to proselytize me. Weirder still, suddenly all of the scriptures that I was made to memorize for candy and promises of heaven came rushing back, pouring from my mouth like sweet water from a rock. I wish that I had had an outside perspective on this situation and that the only thing was actually coming from my mouth was, "baa, baa!"

Spanxzilla: The church is a circus.

Someone hit me back if they can figure this one out:
Britney Spears "Circus" --> "Dirigatur, Gradual In Mode 7 (Liber Usualis, No 1060a): Dirigatur" performed by Alberto Turco (Gregorian Chant)

It is by far the furthest fluctuation that I have ever seen in the music genome project. It's not for lead vocals, not for excessive vamping, not danceable beats. Possibly attention paid to recording quality? That's the closest I can come.

Please help let something tragic and beautiful to happen before then.

That's what you say when you agree "'til death do us part." I'm not saying it's a bad idea but you should just be really sure that that's what you want with this person before you say, "I do." This also isn't a sanctity of marriage post. Let the tractor marry the goat for god's sake. If they have stuff they want to legally share, let them. But Mr. Tractor, Miss Sheep, think about it for just a second. Do you really want to see him throw his last rod? Do you still want to be with her, Trac, after she's popped out a bunch of kids and then turned into tough (but still tasty!) stew?

Please, help. I've fallen from heaven.

I don't know why I haven't posted this one sooner. But I do know why I left the church. It was a simple argument that tore the congregation as I knew it apart. The argument was over free-will vs. predestination. Simple. With an answer that anybody could see if they just looked. And there was one faction that said it was one way because of x,y and z verses. And there was another faction that stated that it was the other way because of p, y, q, and z verses. Things got very heated. That was when I realized that everything is simultaneously making up their own truths which, in turn, make up their own reality. Constantly. And this is the way that the universe exists. Predetermined or free-will? No. It's both. We will behave as we do behave within our capabilities and one of our capabilities as beings is to choose. So I started making up my own truth, too.

Arcade Fire. Neon Bible

There are music videos and there are internet worthy interactive music videos. This one is really cool. I've never heard the song before but it's also very good. Click it out.

Please, help. My teeth haven't been cleaned in years.

Q: This weeks theme?
A: Some of my experiences with organized religion. I don't claim whether its right or wrong. Just my personal experience.
