In the middle of a children's book.

This is one of the pages of a book that I am working on. I think most of you have heard about it at least in passing. I should have the whole thing finished in a month or so. But I liked this page so much that I thought I would share it.

So this is house cat that can grow up to be 4 ft tall and 30-40 lbs. Easy. There are some more pictures out on the internet illustrating the beauty of this beast. Some of them feel comfortable being walked on leashes in public! This cat is not an Ashera and that breed is apparently fake and a scam. But this cat, this cat is real. And I want one. I love cats. I would love to have a cat that I could wrestle with for reals.

I drew this one while dating my last gf. Her birthday was on the exact same day as my mother's. At first I thought it was pretty neat and then I realized how much my mom and I just don't get along. And why. I guess I should be greatful to her. And in a way, I am. Still, I did feel like stabbing my eyes out. That Oedipal thing isn't always the fuzzy bunnies it pretends to be.
